Growing Together at MSP

Fridays at 11am. Meet by the vegetable patch (close to the café – go up the steps through the hedgerow arch and find us at the end of the Tea Gardens)

Our volunteers have spent 2 years establishing a vegetable patch and an orchard, we have high hopes for extending what we do and creating an accessible raised bed too. Come along to a friendly group and help with gardening tasks and learn from one another.

The group will not meet as regularly during the Autumn / Winter or during school holidays. It’s a good idea to get in touch with the park ranger before you come to make sure someone will be there to meet you

Hi. I was just wondering if you are having a fun day on Christmas eve this year like you did the last time Christmas eve fell on a weekend. I came with family and friends and had a fantastic day x

Hi Joanne Sorry for the late reply. We are having a Christmas in the Park event on Wednesday 21st December from 4-7pm. It will be in the area around the bandstand and activity centre. It will be a larger event than previous years although still quite a small scale (no fun fair or anything like that). Please see the updated whats on pages for more information.

    Hi

I would like to know where the suggested donation money goes to. Is it back into a fund for the park to maintain these activities or does it go to Dudley council? I truly hope its to the Mary stevens trust.

    Kind regards

Hi Katherine. We have a separate budget code for the park that we pay it in to. Our HLF funding finishes very soon so any donations received from activity participation, bird food, books etc… will go towards future park activities, events, equipment and bird food. We want as many of the new activities and events as possible (that began under the HLF project) to continue.
